ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Marie!
I have 25+ years of professional experience in graphic design, brand strategy, creative direction, photography, editing, and proofreading, both as an employee at the University of Michigan and as a freelancer. Now, as founder and president of Marie Frost Creative, I love helping clients solve their creative challenges and execute successful communications through thoughtful and strategic collaboration.
In my free time I enjoy traveling (especially to Hawaii), hiking, kayaking, painting, photography, making jewelry, taking care of my 100+ houseplants (yes, you read that right!), and spending time with friends and family.

Nuttle Contracting

I was invited to design the logo and branding for Nuttle Contracting, and led production of T-shirts, dri-fit shirts, sweatshirts and hats for the construction team and others.
Glow Blue for Mott
Branding, Design
I had so much fun designing this invitation for a pre-party for the North American International Auto Show Charity Preview in Detroit, benefiting C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. I also named the event, "Glow Blue for Mott," a fun play on the well-known University of Michigan Wolverines cheer, "Go Blue!"
Wedding Package

To set the classic, romantic tone for this fall wedding, I created a suite of materials, including signage, programs, place cards, and even a deck of playing cards given as favors to each of their guests.

I created a brand while working at Michigan Medicine to help former NFL player Charles Woodson inspire others to join him in raising research funds for the Little Victors at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

Whimsical butterflies usher in spring on this thank-you card with a twist. We partnered with a local tech company who helped us make the colorful creatures come to life using the magic of augmented reality.

I was honored to conceptualize and design this piece. It began with art directing photo shoots with brilliant physician-scientists, then pairing those images with brief research updates in a report for donors to this valuable work.
Heart Month T-Shirt

I love design and I love T-shirts, so it may come as no surprise that I love designing T-shirts! This shirt was part of a fundraiser for Heart Month at the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center.
